Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis are perfectly matched as the hapless Kellermans of Twin Oaks, Ohio, in Neil Simon's tumultuous comedy hit. The top candidate for a prestigious promotion at his company's corporate headquarters in New York City, George (Lemmon), accompanied by his wife Gwen (Dennis), is all set to take a bite out of The Big Apple -- only to quickly discover that The Big Apple can bite back! One of the best true comedies around from start to finish hands down. Another wonderful lost art of a prime example of a true comedy, unlike most of today's movies of that same genre that stoop down to the level of getting laughs by degrading others, use of constant bad language, and insults to others as means of a low cheap forgettable graded comedy.

ingenious wit, comedy, that ANY GENERATION would enjoy. no cell phone, no internet, oh my, how did they manage? bahahaha 🤣 😂

Very funny from the start to the end, hands down a true original of imagination brilliant film all around.
