What is it about online reviews that encourages us to trust the opinions of people we’ve never met? Follow Friday, is a documentary about the strangers we trust to help us make day-to-day decisions. The film follows Erin on an 11,000-mile journey across the United States, meeting and interviewing 140 of the strangers she interacts with everyday on Twitter. Along the way, Erin will make as many decisions as possible based on the recommendations of strangers from social media and websites. She also seeks out and speaks with experts in the field of social media to discuss the power of online reviews, and how these interactions are changing the way businesses and consumers communicate.
