About this movie

In the summer of 2005, a package arrived from London with no return address. Inside were two mini-cassette audio tapes dated December 30, 1999 and labeled THE LAST TESTAMENT OF GEORGE HARRISON. A voice identical to Harrison tells a shocking story: Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash in November of 1966 and replaced with a double! However, the remaining Beatles tried to signal fans with clues on album covers and in songs. MPAA Rating: NOTRATED © 2010 Joel Gilbert.

This would be good for a laugh if it were half as long. Truly awful George Harrison impression (think Beatles toons or Yellow Submarine) and half of the evidence doesn't even fit the Beatles timeline. This movie is too bad for fiction and too fake for a documentary.

I believe the only proof positive method to prove if Paul McCartney is the original from 66 and prior would be to do a computer comparison using F.B.I. or other law enforcement facial recognition software. It is said that even if a picture of a young person is used with that of the same person but much older the software can tell if it is the same person or not. Why no one has done this to date is beyond me or perhaps they were dissuaded from trying?

If you've got $1.99 to spare it's good for a laugh. The plot is contrived (at best) and if the movie narration is taken from the tape(s) this is definitely *not* George Harrison.
