Really wanted to love this movie. It just felt flat. it's okay it could have been great though. This did miss a key ingredient that the other two movies of the Grinch did...this version didn't use the song "You're a mean one Mr. Grinch" When you think of the Grinch you think of this song and boy did they drop the ball by not incorporating it in the film. Pharrell Williams could have given it his magic touch for a revamp of the song. Over all a Okay film but NO magic here.

I just finished watching The Grinch through G-Play movies. It was alright, though it will never be like what Chuck Jones and Boris Karloff did (there was magic there). I like the score, kudos to Mr. Elfman. I believe the true star of the movie was Max, he was the Gromit to the Grinch. I could spend my time praising the antics of Max. Pharell Williams...not a very good narrator, he was just missing something that Karloff and Hopkins had. But it was a lot better than 2000s The Grinch. 4.5/10.

They made Cindy Lou too "Agnus" from despicable me. The music and rhyming was awful, the animation was cool, the inventions were neat, story was dumb and really drawn out! Sometimes it's best to not try to do a modern version of a movie...THIS movie is exactly why! save your money. the voice of the grinch was also awful.
