I understand why this comes up at #1 on alot of best movie lists, but i don't agree with it. Its something you can watch and forget. There's just not much nuance in the story. The cinematography was interesting for its time, but that's about it. I'd say this is a rental. Casablanca or Rear Window, those are the ones you buy. So you can watch over and over again.
