About this movie

The next generation of Griswolds is at is again – and on the road for another ill-fated adventure. Following in his father’s footsteps and hoping for some much-needed family bonding, a grown-up Rusty Griswold (Ed Helms) surprises his wife, Debbie (Christina Applegate), and their two sons with a cross-country trip back to America’s “favorite family fun park,” Walley World.

If you haven't got a sense of humour then this isn't the movie for you. My wife and I saw this at the cinema and we laughed that much and frequently, we were crying. The whole cinema was in hysterics. It's National Lampoon's at its best and possibly my all-time favourite comedy.

I didn't think it was going to be anything other than something to stick on for 90 minutes. I'm glad we decided to watch it, it turned out to be stupid but very funny. You don't have to think much, just enjoy the ride. Sometimes that's just what you need.

I'm a huge fan of the originals and I felt this movie was very true to their spirit. People claiming it is not should really go back and rewatch the old movies. They are all good, silly fun. I found this movie hilarious throughout and I really hope they go on to make more.
