From the creator of Ghost in the Shell and the director of Appleseed comes the intense post-apocalyptic prequel, Appleseed: Alpha. Left to survive in a post-World War society, two mercenary soldiers - Deunan and her cyborg partner Briareos – are sent on a mission on the outskirts of their war-torn city. During the operation, they run into Iris and Olsen, two citizens from the utopian city of Olympus, who might have a way to save the world but the ruthless Talos and the scheming warlord Two Horns have their own plans. It’s up to Deunan and Briareos to safeguard their newfound contacts and help save humanity’s last hope.

It's a great film, but the story is told poorly. A lot of the movie is action packed, so if you're looking for A good narrative, don't look here.

Great film. It's not as action-y as the trailer would suggest. I thought it was kind of a small film, well told. More about the two main characters than an action movie. Great afternoon off kind of watch 👍

Action packed. First off this is just my view of the movie. I loved the film, the animation is spot on, the story is interesting and I feel there could be more told, so another movie with the same characters would be neat.
