About this movie

In an effort to salvage his relationship, a well-meaning control freak drags his girlfriend to a romantic cabin in the woods. Hilarity ensues when a ravenous bear, an affable forest ranger, and a crazy woodsman repeatedly interrupt his elaborate attempts at a marriage proposal. As his plans go up in flames, he must learn that some relationships aren’t worth saving or face being eaten alive by his own insecurities…and also by a bear.

The best bear comedy I've ever seen. You may think that's faint praise, but you've clearly forgotten the wonders of Brother Bear, The Country Bears, The Revenant, The Care Bears Movie, Paddington and the Ted franchise. Watch this movie because it DOESN'T have Mark Wahlberg in it, and does have a heart, laughs, and a sterling cast of up and comers sure to delight multiplexes until the end of the human race (approx. 2023).

I saw this film at the Lone Star Film Fest, and at another screening in Los Angeles. It's an absolutely hilarious film, with solid acting and a great story. You would do well to check out this film and support fantastic independent cinema.

I saw this film at the Alameda Film Festival, and it was amazing! Had no idea what to expect, but ended up loving it! Very funny. Great cast! Amazing writing!!! Would highly recommend to anyone. Please watch, but, rent! Tell your friends. Hide your kids! A BEAR IS ON THE LOOSE!!
