About this movie

Based on George A Romero's classic NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD. In 2012, the deceased have risen from their graves once again with the instinct to feed on the living. Being a fan of George A. Romeo's style of movies, I was really looking forward to this movie. I was so disappointed. Throughout the movie, I kept waiting for the moment things would "jump up a notch". It felt like the whole movie was spent developing the setting where the best parts of the movie would eventually take place, but then it went sideways, abandoning the promising aspects of the plot so far. It felt the writers were just trying to do the most horrible thing possible, while attempting to be unpredictable, but they sacrificed anything interesting, rewarding, or any other redeeming value, in order to accomplish this. If you want to see this movie, just because you're a fan of the genre and want to see the ineptitude for yourself, I can understand that. I just wouldn't spend any money to do so. Wait for it to be available on cable, Netflix, or some other service where you won't have to spend any money specifically for this movie. The acting wasn't horrible. In fact, it was better than most movies in the genre, but the story in general was just repulsive. I would not recommend this movie to anyone, except as mentioned above... unless I really didn't like the person.
