About this movie

Claire works as a bartender in a lawless farm-town, supporting her younger brother and abusive father. When an accident-turned-crime finds her lifeless in the wooded hills, Garett - a mysterious, bearded wanderer - carries her to safety. Weeks later, curiosity drags her back to the woods in search of the hero, only to find him squatting in a makeshift hut on state land. The closer they get, the more Claire questions his isolation and past life, and the more Garett lets go of his fear and distrust for the town. Love, violence and addiction collide in a slow unraveling of the heart.

Loud Places is an atmospheric story of two loners who meet under difficult circumstances, and form a bond of trust and intimacy in spite of the secrets they keep hidden. Their relationship is put to the test when each one is forced to face the past in a shocking turn of events. Beautifully shot, acted and realized. Definitely worth a watch.

This keeps you guessing throughout the whole movie, never sure exactly where the story is taking you until the final reveal. The actors had great chemistry and there was beautiful cinematography throughout. I really enjoyed it!
