An achievement in action film history. A timeless classic that is often imitated but will never be duplicated. I remember T2 being among the first DVDs I purchased a little over ten years ago mostly because I knew the quality would be there sound and picture wise and speaking of picture, it amazes me how well the effects still hold up 24 years after the film's original release.

This is my favorite movie of all time it's part of my childhood (yes I saw this pretty young) but its just amazing and holds up much better than anything Hollywood has tried to make lately. I love the franchise respect each of the movies that came out after this one but to me this is the one that made the franchise great.

Released in 1991 with a then record budget of $88 million, director James Cameron went all out with big action sequences all throughout the film. The breakthrough technology of computer graphic morphing effects debuted here and won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
