About this movie

When a mysterious race of creatures takes over a desolate Earth, humanity must take refuge in SkyArk, the city in the sky. After the rebellion against a corrupt leadership fails, the wealthy doom the rebels' children to live on the ruins of the old Earth. The rebel leader's son, Rags, must lead his fellow exiles against the monsters in order to have a chance to return to SkyArk, but he soon finds that he has a much greater purpose in saving humanity.

Ratings and reviews

A good job from a bunch of young actors. They made the story believable with seemingly real emotions and well delivered lines. The character "Skunk" seemed out of place in the story but did provide some slight comical relief. I was also surprised by the realistic special effects. Better quality than the "SyFy Original" type effects I expected and almost on par with major Hollywood blockbusters. I certainly want to see a sequel to this film.

Very low budget all children cast mostly I've seen some low budget films that are good even without all the money just story made no sense to me the earth was still better than from what I saw of skyark. The so called monsters easily defeated by a piece of metal off a junk plane made into a sword. Best part show was the female actors they had more guts that was most entertaining part show them kicking butt. I'm all for giving low budget movies a shot for sure but this one you'll regret. This one one star long live sci-if!!

I wanted to like this ... But even after adjusting to the idea that this is a children's film with only kid actors, I couldn't tolerate more than 20 minutes.
