Ratings and reviews

Not sure how to review this movie: it's just pure fun. A return to my childhood. It is beautiful visually, with a sound track to which I still listen on a regular basis. The story is classic sci-fi, with a little coming of age thrown in, but nothing too grand. It's certainly not breaking new ground. But it does not have to, given the ground the original movie shattered a trillion cycles ago. All up, just a good, fun family friendly movie.

Worth while remake and continuation of the original. Refreshed special effects, with a similar enough story line to see how history keeps on repeating itself.

Visually stunning, great action, fun story, Jeff Bridges and its been beautifully scored by Daft Punk. What more can you want? Must watch for any sci-fi fan.
