About this movie

Steve Carell and Tina Fey are a match made in comedy heaven in this uproarious adventure about an ordinary couple in the right place...on the wrong night. Phil and Claire Foster are a sensible, suburban husband and wife slogging through their daily lives and marriage. But a case of mistaken identity sets off an outrageous chain of events involving small-time thieves, big-city mobsters, corrupt cops and a crazed cabbie, as the Fosters' "date night" turns into a wild ride they'll never forget!

Great date night movie. Some parts dragged but those were overcome with the physical and ad lib comedy of Correll and Fey. They were great together. Wahlberg plays a great straight guy with a bit part. Car scene was one of the best car chase scenes ever.

Being married can sometimes get comfortable. We may take our partner for granted. Here is a couple who is just that. They are stuck in a rut and by fortunate/unfortunate circumstances, their date night turns in to a time of reconnecting and falling in love again.

While I like both Steve Carrell and Tina Fey, I didn't like this movie. It takes more than good actors, it needs a good story and a script. This movie was contrived and other than a couple of moments just not funny. Can't recommend it.
