Comedy series about a hapless cafe owner in occupied France. A devious plan is hatched to enable an escape from the Prisoner of War camp.

Rene and his fellow prisoners continue their escape attempt from the German POW camp, dressing as girls from the Folies Bergere.

The Resistance supplies a new waitress for Cafe Rene, and an Italian liaison officer arrives to work with the Colonel.

Rene uses bizarre means to establish radio contact with England. Meanwhile, Herr Flick suspects the Colonel and the General of plotting an assassination attempt.

Gruber has finished the paintings, but where can they be hidden? As always, the answer lies in the sausages.

General von Klinkerhoffen visits the local vineyards for a wine-tasting, during which the Resistance provides him with a special vintage and throws in an exploding wheelchair for good measure.
