Good but not as good as the book. I love the casting, Shadow and Wednesday are perfect, but I found the branching story lines in the book really engaging while in this series (based on viewing season 1 only) has reduced them to vague references. Also it somehow feels as though they have introduced an element of religiosity that wasn't in the books. Sounds weird as the story is about religion but the book didn't feel as though it either validated or denied religion.

What story line exists, takes a while to consume but is made up by a complete cinematic experience from intro to ending of each episode. Some of the most beautiful filming I've seen in a television show. I also love Ian Mcshane playing his powerful, morbid yet quirky character.

Couldn't even finish the series. Such a disappointment. Had to stop on about 4th episode where there was a scene where things were getting killed, lots and lots of slomo blood splashing etc. Except this one went on and on and on....and on and on.
