Diplodocus and Dung and Other Adventures episodes (6)

1 T-Rex and Imprint
3/7/14
Andy travels back 65 million years to North America in the time of Tyrannosaurus rex. His mission is to get a clay imprint of the skin of a T-Rex. Since T-Rex was one of the largest and fiercest meat eaters on the planet, he has to wait for one to fall asleep, but with adorable T-Rex babies to look after, the mother T-Rex is anything but tired. Will Andy succeed and make it back to the museum in time?
2 Stegosaurus and Painting
3/25/14
Andy travels back 150 million years and all the way to North America, the home of Stegosaurus - a five-tonne plant eater that was as long as a double-decker bus! Stegosaurus were covered in armoured plates that they flushed blood into when they were angry to scare away meat-eating dinosaurs like Allosaurus. Andy's mission is to get a photograph of the plates of an angry Stegosaurus so he can finish Hatty's painting back at the museum. But will he make it back in time, especially since a hungry Allosaurus is never far away?
3 Diplodocus and Dung
3/25/14
Andy travels back 152 million years, to the time of Diplodocus - a massive 25-metre-long plant-eating dinosaur. His mission is to find a dung beetle. Along the way he witnesses a baby Diplodocus emerging from the ground to take their very first steps. But, will Andy succeed in time before the museum opens?
4 Postosuchus and Teeth
3/26/14
Andy travels back 220 million years to the time of Postosuchus - a giant crocodile-like creature that roamed North America in the time of the earliest dinosaurs. Before dinosaurs came along he was the biggest meat eater on the planet with a set of teeth to be proud of. So much so, in fact, that Hatty's display is all about the Postosuchus' teeth - only, they've all gone missing! Andy's mission is to track down a Postosuchus and make himself some plaster copies of its teeth. Not an easy task given it would happily take a bite out of him given half a chance!
5 T-Rex and Roar
3/27/14
Andy travels back 65 million years to the time of Tyrannosaurus rex - Andy's favourite dinosaur of all time. It also had a pretty impressive roar which Hatty has simulated in the museum using the trumpet of an elephant and the bark of a dog. When the CD of the sound effect gets damaged moments before the museum opens, Andy vows to fix the problem. His mission is to track down a T-Rex and record its massive roar - but that will mean getting up close and personal with one of the biggest known meat eaters on the planet. Will he succeed, and will he make it back to the museum in time?
6 Allosaurus and Salt
3/28/14
Andy travels back 145 million years to the time of Allosaurus - a massive meat-eating dinosaur that roamed the salt flats of North America. Hatty's display features a fossilised footprint of an Allosaurus that she found on her travels but when the delivery of salt she needed to finish the display fails to turn up (in fact it turns out to be pepper), Andy vows to fix the problem. His mission is to travel back to the prehistoric salt flats and collect enough salt to finish the display. Along the way he befriends an Allosaurus but two others turn up which are less friendly and the adventure culminates in a breathtaking chase along the salt flats as the Allosauruses dodge the giant legs and long necks of a herd of Diplodocus.

About this show
