Murder. Madness. Manson. It's 1967 in Los Angeles, and while the summer of love is in full swing - the crime of the decade is about to explode. When the teenage daughter of a respected lawyer goes missing, old-school detective Sam Hodiak (David Duchovny, "The X-Files," "Californication") takes the case. As he investigates the young girl’s connections to the hippie scene, he soon stumbles upon a small-time cult leader seeking out vulnerable women to join his cause. From there he'll follow this twisted man’s trail down a rabbit hole of sex, drugs, murder, and cultural revolution. But little does he know, the suspect he's hunting is destined to become the infamous serial killer we know as Charles Manson.
