About this show

Swapping the Ford Cortina for an Audi Quattro, DCI Gene Hunt rolls up his sleeves and embraces the 80s in the sequel to the critically acclaimed and phenomenally popular Life On Mars. Set in 1981, everyone's favourite politically-incorrect cop, flanked by his faithful sidekicks Ray Carling and Chris Skelton, turns his attentions to taking on the 'southern nancy' criminal scum in London.

Amazing. Must watch Life on Mars first. After watching life on mars you think Ashes to Ashes won't be as good. However, once you get to series 2 Ashes to Ashes really gets into its own and I think it is better than Life on Mars (They are both amazing) If you can't find Life on Mars here they are both on iPlayer

I've watched this show 2-3 times, and loved it every time.. being a child in the 80's can reminisce with the music, fashion and awful hairstyles. .. the storyline is brilliant, and love the twist at the end....
