I think it's about as comedic as 'Get out'. It addresses very serious topics without airbrushing them: stereotyping, near hopelessness, homelessness, violence, death, police brutality, tough love, struggling to make ends meet and a very palpable insensitivity. Session 2 is only going to get darker.
