Atlanta Plastic follows three of the country's top African- American plastic surgeons as they shatter stereotypes and provide a wide range of beauty procedures to clients of all ethnic backgrounds. Plastic surgery among African-Americans has skyrocketed in the past five years and given birth to a new corner of the plastic surgery market known as “ethnic plastic surgery” that highlights and enhances traditionally ‘black’ features for clients of all colors. Whether it’s a wife of an Atlanta record executive whose surgery was botched by another surgeon or a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader looking to bump up her rump, each story comes with a sky-high price tag and even higher emotional stakes.
