When a secret messenger brings unexpected news from outside the city, Ariadne tries to search for the source without raising suspicion from the Queen. This proves an impossible task, especially with the revelation that it is Ariadne's exiled brother Therus who has sent for her. He is eager to expose the truth behind his exile, and Ariadne must decide if her loyalties lie in Atlantis, or with her royal sibling.

With hopes of an escape fading, their courage is tested to its limit, until a lifeline comes from an unexpected source.

Penniless and starving, Jason cannot believe his luck when he finds an abandoned feast. Temptation takes over and he helps himself to the bounty, but his gluttony comes at a price as he begins to behave strangely. As things spiral out of control, it falls to Hercules and Pythagoras to save their friend before Heptarian and the palace guards bring his exertions to heel for good.
12 Touched by the Gods - Part One

Jason is reminded of his promise to Circe and her grim warning should he fail to honour their pact. He has no choice but to act - he must kill the queen. As the alarm is raised, it will take more than just courage to save his life - he needs the help of someone on the inside.

Aided by the studious young Pythagoras and the overbearing Hercules, Jason embarks on an epic adventure which sees him brush shoulders with Medusa, come face to face with the Minotaur and do battle with the dead.

Season 2 is split into two volumes and is priced accordingly.
