One of the most well written and charecter driven shows I've ever watched, i fell in love with this show from the moment I watched it. It builds upon what breaking bad started and lives up to its predecessor, even stands up on its own. its just as good if not even a tad better then breaking bad but we'll have to wait for the series to end to make that judgment. All and all better call saul is one of if not the best show on Television right now. Its a slow burner but it definitely pay off.

Saul Goodman was the only thing I liked about Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul's first season was funny, sad, suspenseful, and occasionally disturbing in many of the ways I felt its predecessor was trying to be, but with enough subtlety to be believable and identifiable. As of Season 2 Ep 2 , though, the writing is already starting to suffer. The "foreshadowing" is really heavy-handed and feels like a harbinger of another unending pity party a la Breaking Bad. I really hope I'm wrong about this, but as of S2E4 we're ever so slowly playing out what we've already basically been told would happen to Jimmy. Mike's story is a little more interesting, but as the big picture goes it appears we are officially back to the Breaking Bad formula of filler shots and empty conflict. If you finished Season 1 and haven't started Season 2, stop there or at least wait for cheaper streaming. I kind of regret buying Season 2 in advance, and doubt I'll continue after this season.

I think this is my favourite show of all time. Personal I always prefer character-centered shows than those plot-driven ones. I love how this show focuses on character development and also has the most riveting and fascinating stories. To me every character is so lovable yet so relatable even I don't practice law or sell drugs. I just can't help but caring about what happens to them. So many surprises and twists but all make perfect sense. Every time I think "there is no way the writers can write themselves out of this" but they do, in a mind blowing way. Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan and others in the crew are the greatest geniuses in TV history. And Kim Wexler is Goddess.
