Black Ink Crew Chicago

As the darkness of the pandemic recedes, the crew of Black Ink Chicago looks to the future while being forced to face the past. Business at 9MAG has never been better, even though Ryan's life is in disarray, while Charmaine has a new baby and new job.

Ryan faces off with a close friend who feels he committed the ultimate betrayal. Kitty begins her tenure at 2nd City Ink. Even with a baby on the way, Phor tries to put the brakes on his relationship with Nina, only to have to deal with her mother.

As Nina, stuck at the apartment and eight months pregnant, waits for Phor to get home, she finally decides to pack up her things and move out. Phor asks the 9MAG guys for advice and seeks solace in his music, spending more late nights at the studio.

Both 9MAG and 2nd City gear up for the Chicago Tattoo Convention, while goodbyes and new beginnings loom over the Crew. Draya and Kitty become closer allies when Charmaine continues to struggle with managing 2nd City Ink while caring for her sick father.

2nd City and 9MAG participate in the Chicago Tattoo Convention, but tempers flare when ex-2nd City employees, Draya and Kitty, show up, creating conflict for Charmaine. Ryan plays the role of peacemaker, but this comes at the cost of a personal relationship, while Nina and Phor settle into parenthood.

After the dysfunction at 2nd City Ink was put on display at the convention, the crew is scrambling to understand what happened and if the situation can be fixed. Meanwhile, Ryan is welcoming a new artist to 9MAG and searching for answers of his own.

Self-care is what it's all about as Ryan steps away from 9MAG to take part in an intensive therapy retreat, Don throws a community health fair, and Charmaine is faced with another family tragedy.

Neek tries to brighten Charmaine's spirits after losing her father by arranging a surprise picnic for their fifth anniversary. Charmaine reveals some big news. Ryan, fresh out of therapy and feeling brand new, approaches leadership at 9MAG with new vigor.

Attitudes fly, and feats of strength are tested when the members of 9MAG and 2nd City Ink attend a team bonding trip hosted by Ryan, who wants to rectify the last family dinner disaster. Meanwhile, not everyone wants to play on Charmaine's team.

Tempers flare as old beefs resurface at Char's new product launch. Nina and Phor work to put Phorever first, and Prince struggles with a choice offered and a choice made.

With more and more artists joining 9MAG, Ryan comes back as focused as ever on his growing shop. Charmaine cleans house at 2nd City and implements new restrictions that leave the crew at 9MAG wondering "What's going on with Charmaine?"

Don and Phor worry that Ryan might see their growth outside of the shop as disloyalty. As Draya settles into 9MAG, she finds out you can't run from all of your problems. Shogun throws a party to welcome all the new artists.

Ryan confronts his grandmother's passing and realizes he's been spread too thin between work and family. As several mysterious encounters with the ghost of 9MAG start to worry the crew, Draya invites a medium to the shop to clear the air.

After a long drought on the dating front, Don schemes to get Ryan on track to having a love life. Prince struggles to get through to his nephew, and enlists the help of "Sensei" Shogun. Ceci is feeling out of place at 9MAG, so B-Slam plans a girls' night out. The cracks in Phor and Nina's co-parenting relationship start to show at a lingerie party for Phor's album.

Tensions reach new levels between Phor and Nina in the aftermath of the lingerie party. As construction gets underway at 9MAG, Ceci goes missing without a word, leaving the shop to worry and wonder what's going on. Draya takes a DNA test to see just how big her family really is. With Don's daughter and her mother living in a different state, Don struggles to reach them.

While 9MAG wraps up construction and celebrates the reopening of the shop, Don struggles with being a long-distance dad. Phor and Don travel to Texas where they reunite with a blast from the past. Draya gets a crash course in Chicago culture. A prank war between Prince and B-Slam takes Prince's tattoo experience into a different world.

9MAG hires a familiar face to work at the shop. With his dad's health deteriorating, Prince is forced to make changes for his future. Draya gets an unexpected text that makes her question her next moves. Guys' night out takes a left turn when a surprise visit disrupts the party.

Draya gives Phor a permanent reminder of the man he's becoming. Kitty adds 'babysitter' to her resume. Prince is in the market for the next woman of his dreams, but the shop worries he hasn't found the most suitable match. Don and Ashley have a heated disagreement over the state of their marriage.

With his artists consistently absent from the shop, Ryan struggles to pay the bills. Don and Ashley seek help with their marriage, as Ashley learns more from Don than she expected. Draya and Prince travel to New York to see if her newfound family will accept her. While there, Prince and Draya pay homage to the OGs of the game. Prince gets a taste of Brooklyn when Spyder takes him on a tour of his city.

Ryan continues to struggle with the business, leaving 9MAG at a crossroads. Prince and Draya have family obligations motivating them to take actions into their own hands. Kitty has new plans for her future. Don and Ashley deal with the fallout of their marriage counseling. Phor prepares to leave Chicago for good.
