During a visit to the Danish troops in Afghanistan, Birgitte and Kasper have to be evacuated when the Taliban launch a strong, co-ordinated offensive against several Danish camps. Katrine, who is covering the visit for the Express, chooses to remain in the camp and sees a young soldier die on the operating table.
