Thirteen year-old Katie Pine went missing from the small northern Ontario city of Algonquin Bay months ago. She’s just been found – brutally murdered and frozen in a block of ice at the bottom of an abandoned mineshaft. Everyone thought she had run away. Everyone except Detective John Cardinal. The six episode mini-series follows Cardinal as he plunges into the grizzly mystery – a mystery that no one besides him believes is the work of a serial killer.
