Castle

Not a terrible show, but pales in comparison to other similar shows like Bones, Elementary, etc. etc. The cast is solid and does an admirable job, but the scripts are generally extremely predictable - I should not be able to tell who the bad guy is in the first two minutes just because they're a new love interest! Still, it's fine to watch as a time-killer, and Castle's relationship with his daughter is adorable.

The cast really sets this apart. That and the humour, though that's not to say it can't be intense at times. That the stories manage to stay fresh even after 5 seasons is testament, but it is the little character moments that really elevate this show. Also episode 23 of season 3 does appear if you watch/download episode 22. Weird.

This digital download is appalling, there are black screen breaks of 4 to 5 seconds exactly where the adverts appear in the TV broadcast of the show. The impression I get is that someone just ripped the TV broadcast and inexpertly removed the ads. Overall an appalling download not like any other TV series download I have purchased from Google. Update:- after watching the first 2 episodes I have to say this is one of the most interesting TV dramas I have ever watched, the characters are well written and believe able and work well together on screen. Despite the ongoing flaws in the downloads I think I will be enjoying this series for a long time.
