Kelly Rowland is ready to form the next chart-topping R&B girl group. With the help of creative genius, Frank Gatson, she meets young talented females face-to-face, to hear them sing and help them chase their destiny of super stardom.

Kelly Rowland and Frank Gatson must choose their Top 15 ladies to come to LA and get to work.

Kelly's Top 15 can't cut it, so she heads to Houston to audition more ladies. Meanwhile, Frank stirs the pot of talent still brewing in LA. Tragedy strikes one of the ladies.

Kelly and Frank shake things up asking the girls to sing solos on the spot.

Another round of cuts cause tensions to rise among the ladies.

Mutual dreams, emotions and doubt can't keep Kelly from accomplishing her mission: she knows who belongs in the group.

Kelly finally assembles her long-awaited girl group and wastes no time getting them in formation. Legendary group, New Edition motivate the ladies, while producer, Tricky Stewart encourages Kelly to make another cut.

The group must perform on the spot for En Vogue. Some scandalous footage surfaces, threatening the group's brand new bond. Kelly must set the group straight or send someone home.

The ladies have their first studio session, makeover, photo shoot, and a disagreement that divides them. Kelly enlists media expert La La Anthony, but can the group kill the tension before their performance of a lifetime?
