About this show

Executive Producer George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation present Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Set between Episode II and Episode III of the Star Wars saga, Star Wars: The Clone Wars combines ground-breaking computer-generated animation with epic storytelling. As war sweeps through the galaxy, the Jedi Knights, including heroes Yoda, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and newcomer Ahsoka Tano, fight against the dark side of the Force in order to restore peace to the galaxy. Led by Count Dooku, his assassin Asajj Ventress, and the mechanical General Grievous, the Separatists scheme to defeat the Jedi. Each episode is an action-packed adventure that delves deeper into the Star Wars universe, introducing new characters and exploring new planets as the Jedi and their Clone Army embark on new missions to protect the galaxy.

Very well made show getting progressively better each series with a great story to bridge the plots of star wars 2 & 3 as it gives a unique idea to the events which happened. Very well written as well as you can feel attached to the different squadrons in the show. The creator of the show did a great job with this tv show despite people not liking the film which was released a few months before the first series. It is a bit annoying that you are unable to buy the final series as the end is just left empty if you haven't already seen it. This tv show helps reinforce the reason why the prequel trilogy of Star wars is my favourite trilogy. Some of the episodes are not as good as others but they are all much better than Star Wars:TROS (Ep.9).

I used to love star wars as a kid but the last few years it's been just whored out to advertise anything. I would love to sit down and watch the original original version before it was tampered with. The version I watched in the early 80's on laserdisc. No 're editing or extra cgi. Instead we got loads of films out some good some terrible cartoons more films etc etc etc blah blah

500 characters is not enough to review properly. It's good. However there are some woeful episodes. Hence 4/5 In TCW you see Anakin's comradeship with Obi Wan develop and you glimpse flashes of Anakin's quick temper, cocky confidence and outrageous abilities. Yoda assigns Anakin a courageous but impulsive & stubborn padawan. The last 2 episodes of season 7 are breathtaking, giving fans an overlap with ROTS and specifically order 66. The sense of foreboding throughout S07E11 is phenomenal.
