Present day Daniel LaRusso lives a charmed life. That is, until he sees that the Cobra Kai dojo, the source of his teenage angst and rivalry, has been reestablished by Johnny Lawrence. Struggling to launch the business, Johnny starts teaching karate to his teenage neighbor Miguel. Daniel faces his former opponent and old offenses are quickly reignited.

In the highly-anticipated return of two iconic characters, the arch-rivals from the legendary Karate Kid film series reunite over 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament. Now living in the affluent hills of Encino, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) leads an enviable life with his beautiful family, while running a successful string of car dealerships throughout the valley. Meanwhile, his high school adversary, Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), whose life has taken a rocky turn, seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo. Their lives inevitably become intertwined and the rivalry is reignited, setting forth the next generation of "karate kids" in COBRA KAI, a YouTube Red Original Series. 3 Euro pro Folge? Wo leben wir eigentlich? Völlig überteuert und dann noch diese Abzocke mit Folge 1 und 2 die gibt es auf YouTube legal und kostenlos zu sehen. Greedy Google.Auf YouTube Premium mit Testmonat komplett umsonst

Folge 1 und 2 sind ja frei auf YouTube zu sehen (Stand 02.05.) und wirklich genial ! Leider gibt es in Deutschland kein YouTubeRed (warum eigentlich immer noch nicht?) und so bietet Google grosszügigerweise an, die Red Original Serie auf Play zu kaufen. Rund 3 Euro für eine 25 minütige Folge... wow ! Aber halt nein - selbst das klappt nicht, weil man nur Folge 5, 7, 9 und 10 angeboten bekommt. So kann ich leider nicht die ganze Serie bewerten, sondern nur die ersten beiden Folgen. Danke für das schallende Gelächter, welches mir entfahren ist, Google. RIDICULOUS ! xD

Ich habe die bisherigen Staffeln zwar nicht hierüber gesehen, dennoch kann ich allen die damit hadern diese Serie zu schauen wirklich ans Herz legen. William Zabka alias Johnny und Ralph Maccio alias Daniel Larusso leben ihre alte Rivalität wieder auf. Es gibt ausserdem weitere original Schauspieler aus dem Film Karate Kid der 80ger in der man einfach mega gerührt ist. Mr. Miyagi wird hier sowas von ehrenvoll gewürdigt das man ebenso berührt ist. Spaß = Hoch...beste Serie
