Lowe's mission is to prevent the Chronometer from falling into the hands of pirates... and if the opportunity should arise, to assassinate Blackbeard.

It was a rebellion against Empire - the first, true democracy in the Americas, where slaves were free 150 years before the Emancipation Proclamation. But, this democracy of the world's most notorious criminals is destined to self-destruct as its being built.
