About this show

Just how far is a chef willing to go win a cooking competition? Cutthroat Kitchen hands four chefs $25,000 and the opportunity to spend that money on helping themselves or sabotaging their competitors: Ingredients will be thieved, utensils destroyed and valuable time on the clock lost when these chefs compete to cook delicious dishes while also having to out plot the competition. With Alton Brown as the devilish provocateur, nothing is out of bounds when money changes hands and we see just how far one chef will go to ensure they have the winning dish.

Its a show that glorifies being gay and frowns upon pointing out traditional family values. I can respect the want for diversity but it ruins a show when it feels forced. Its a cooking show, just cook, skip the politics and butt kissing to make it something appeal to people it might not. Being gay or straight doesn't make you a better cook. Being a specific race doesn't make you a better cook. Practice makes you a better cook. Its insulting to everyone not diverse, wake up!

Its a entertaining show. The show is about 4 competitors who bid on sabotages the host Alden Brown makes up. Alden Browns sabotages are nasty, mean, and seem impossible but before the show they test all the sabotages to see if there possible. Alden Brown gives them $20,000 to use throughout the show. BUT they must spend WISLEY because the winner walks out with ONLY the Monet they have REMAINING. There is one judge who judges on presentation, does it remind him of the meal they have to make, taste.

By far, my favorite Food Network show. Since Paula Deen and Damaris are gone, this is the only show I watch, aside from the holiday competitions. Alton Brown is hilariously evil as he seeks new and dubious ways for competitors to sabotage each other. Start to finish, the show is full of cringe-worthy laughs and second hand embarrassment. You'll catch yourself shouting at the TV like it's a serious sport competition. Cutthroat Kitchen is by far the best cooking show on television.
