Told through the prism of three men; Dennis Nilsen (David Tennant), Detective Chief Inspector Peter Jay (Daniel Mays) and biographer Brian Masters (Jason Watkins) - the series will explore the personal and professional consequences of coming into contact with a man like Nilsen.
