One of my favorite #Detroit pieces of television media in very long time! I enjoyed how the city was portrayed on 'Detroit 187'. It could of been way worse for our reputation but instead there was respect given. As a local Detroiter for a couple of decades, it was extra awesome picking out the accuracy of the show in relation to the city too. I was genuinely bummed out to find out it wasn't being picked up for a second season. #RIPDetroit187 Still miss ya, Love from the Motor City aka Motown.

Shame on ABC for canceling an incredible show. Not only was it a great program, but it starred local talent, 1 man of which was my boyfriend, was not just an extra, but featured extra on multiple episodes. Out of the 300+ actors on the show, some of which were on only one episode, were listed on the "complete list" of these 300+ actors, he wasn't listed AT ALL! Although I.obviously blame the director for that! He played a friend of episode where football player was killed, businessman & a cop on.episode 3

What a great show! I can't believe it wasn't picked up by another network. Everyone that played in the 18 short episodes were outstanding and I sure hope they know that.
