This show rode for two seasons on a sharp contrast between the virtuous but cunning maids, and the hilariously depraved rich anglos. This season the lines have not only been blurred- they've been erased. The caricatures of the maids and the rich eccentrics were easier to appreciate than the complex unresolved characters of this season. The show seems to be asking the viewers if it's serious or comic drama. This has surprised me and I am off balance on how to look at this. The Powells and Genevieve (not in this ep) remain lovably contemptible. But Ernesto, Katie, Jesse, and now Rena are sowing confusion rather than carifying the story.

I didn't start watching this show until this year... Boy I really missed out. I'm hooked and can't wait for season three! The women are smoking hot and even though it's very tele-novelish and silly, it's fun to watch.
