Dicte - Crime Reporter

Recently divorced reporter Dicte Svendsen moves to her old hometown with her daughter Rose. Haunted by the past, Dicte tries to put some of her childhood memories behind her, but old wounds open up when she discovers the body of a young woman.

Following the kidnapping of a pregnant girl, the police are put under pressure and blame Dicte for working independently, but she soon discovers a new lead that could solve the case. Meanwhile, Rose’s boyfriend Darko is questioned by the police.

All is not what it seems when Dicte discovers the body of a teacher, Inger Gravgård, who appears to have committed suicide. While Dicte tries to find Inger’s missing daughter, Wagner focuses on one of Inger’s students but who is following the right lead?

After leading a child away from a crime scene, Dicte finds herself in the middle of Wagner’s investigation, much to his annoyance. The authorities find another similarity between two dead women, while a newspaper reveals Dicte’s past.

Dicte covers the death of a baby boy which she thinks is linked to religious fanaticism. However, when a woman is seen at the cemetery following the boy’s burial, Dicte follows her, but does she need Dicte’s help? Elsewhere, Ida-Marie goes into labour.

Following the kidnapping of her friend’s son, Wagner lets Dicte help with the investigation – the kidnapping must be linked to the baby boy. When Wagner decides that they must try to understand the mother’s state of mind, Dicte reveals a desperate piece of her past.

The discovery of Michael’s dead body at a rest stop leads police to think it is a sex crime until they discover something more sinister. Elsewhere, a prisoner called Peter gives Dicte a tip off, but does he have a hidden agenda?

Dicte is reunited with her son after 24 years apart but all is not what it seems. Searching a suspect’s apartment, the police find evidence that he murdered Michael, but who was his murderer? Dicte fears that Peter could be involved and unwittingly goes undercover.

After interviewing top politician Francesca Olsen, a bomb explodes killing a young woman called Miriam, but was she the intended target and how is Dicte’s estranged son, Peter, involved?

Dicte is forced to lie to Wagner in order to buy herself some time to find the true perpetrator. When Wagner looks into Peter’s previous conviction, he realises that the case isn’t as straightforward as it first seemed and makes a shocking discovery.
