Downton Abbey: The Finale episodes (1)

1 The Finale
12/25/15
Season-only
Romance abounds in the final episode of Downton Abbey, but for some the year's end is bitter-sweet. Mary endeavours to build bridges but Edith's secret continues to pose a threat, even after she thought there was nothing left to lose. As Henry settles into the role of husband, scars left by Charlie's death are slow to heal, while Carson struggles to come to terms with developments which prove that even he is not invulnerable to change. Spratt's successful moonlighting venture is threatened by the conniving of Denker, and Daisy may have missed her chance with an admirer. Isobel receives devastating news and when the Greys' scheming takes a sinister turn, she and Violet join forces. Robert must learn the value of independence, while the day that Anna and Bates have been waiting for arrives. The last ever episode offers all the love and loss, happiness and heartbreak of Downton Abbey, and as the family and servants prepare to welcome 1926 with an unforgettable New Year's Eve we will share our final two hours in their company, and reflect on the ending of a television event.

About this show

The costume drama series, Downton Abbey, written and created by Oscar-winning writer Julian Fellowes, stars Academy Award-winner Maggie Smith as a Dowager Countess of an Edwardian English country house in 1912. The series portrays the lives of the Crawley family and the servants who work for them, in a time before the last vestige of century's old tradition were stripped away by World War and the modern age. The all star cast also includes Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern.

Old story lines, poor acting and terrible lazy directing! If the writer has no more good ideas then please stop making this programme it should have finished on a high because the latest season is terrible. There is virtually no plots or decent new story to keep veiwers interest. We are not fools so please do not keep regurgitating old weary plots from the past we want NEW things to keep us viewing. Poor poor poor from a disappointed Downton fan.

Starts off amazing but after seasons one and two the writing gets trashy and lazy. Many characters are killed off, or written out. The character development is poor and it soon becomes clear that they are mostly just plot devices. The story lines go round in circles. I would watch the first two series but the rest aren't worth it particularly as time moves too quickly and many historical facts and details about ages etc. get skipped over.

I never had an app draining my battery this quick, there's no option in settings to turn off notifications, it keeps running all the time even when I close all active applications. The game itself would be alright
