The best reason, above all, to watch the show is the portrayal of the star (dogstar?), Martin. Martin "speaks" to the camera in a documentary style, discussing his fears and concerns about life and his relationship with his human, Nan. If you don't fall in love with this dog, I don't know what's wrong with you. The human story lines are not quite as strong, and the show is not really a "comedy", but I've laughed a bit more on repeat viewings and enjoyed it more. ABC has cancelled it, but I'm hoping that it will find a new forever home.

The show, like the dog, is quite in love with itself. They think it will be funny just because they think it is funny. This, however, is not the case. Seems there is a trend in talking animals. The network said "Get me one of those". It appears to be funny at first, but the more you watch, the worse it gets.
