Enlightened

Following an on-the-job breakdown, a corporate buyer named Amy Jellicoe (Laura Dern) returns home after an extended stay in a holistic treatment center.

Amy's hopes to land a dream job take a hit when she's demoted to working in data entry among a group of social misfits--where she uncovers a litany of corporate improprieties while surfing the net in her downtime.

Jealous of Krista's good fortune and fed up with her humiliation at Abaddonn, Amy considers leaving the company for a socially responsible job at a homeless shelter. But the low pay and a huge unpaid bill from the treatment center give her pause.

Wary that she may revert to her old, hard-partying ways on her first weekend back at home, Amy talks Levi into taking a rafting excursion to the Kern River, which they used to frequent during happier times when they were married.

Moved by the deportation plight of a Mexican mother, Amy tries to generate interest in a new woman's group at work. She targets the head of human resources and a baby shower for new recruits, but learns her cause and passion aren't shared by all.

Amy is thrilled when Sandy (Robin Wright), whom she'd met in Hawaii during group therapy, comes to visit. The kindred relationship between the two starts eroding when Helen refuses to put up Sandy for another night, forcing Amy to drop her off with Levi.

A disturbing dream leads Amy to confront the emptiness in her life--and her lingering feelings for Levi. At work, after Dougie gets a promotion, Amy looks to get into his good graces by setting him up with Harper, a pretty co-worker of Krista's.

Friction increases between Amy, Dougie and the staff when she finds herself reported to HR for job deficiencies. Desperate to move out of the department, Amy tries to get Krista to get her a meeting with Damon, with predictable results.

Amy goes off to work, leaving Helen alone with her thoughts and memories. At the grocery store, she runs into old friend Carol. Later, Levi stops by to drop off a photo album--and ends up venting about Helen's role in his breakup with Amy.

(Season One Finale) Amy convinces Levi to get treatment at Open Air. At work, a reinvigorated Amy presses to present her research findings to Damon's group. After paying a steep price, Amy turns to Tyler for the key to forcing change at Abaddonn.

Season Two Premiere. Looking for the key to ruin Abaddonn and free its employees, Amy orchestrates a meeting with a charming whistle-blowing journalist, Jeff Flender (Dermot Mulroney), sharing some of the incriminating emails she has dug up.

Amy and Tyler meet Jeff who reveals he's already been working on a story about Abaddonn but needs proof of bribery. Later, Abaddonn's breach of security is exposed--leaving Tyler scrambling to find a solution that won't lead investigators to him or Amy.

Amy receives a letter from Hawaii from Levi--who escapes Open Air with a pair of fellow malcontents for a night of drugs and debauchery. After pushing himself to his limits, Levi decides he's ready to return to Open Air and give rehab one more chance.

Amy becomes inspired to use social media to spread her message of change. Dougie learns who hacked into Abaddonn's system, but has second thoughts about reporting the breach to HR. Amy has a chance run-in with Abaddonn CEO Charles Szidon.

In an effort to dig up dirt on Szidon, Amy, Tyler and Dougie try to befriend the CEO's assistant, Eileen. Eventually agreeing to join the trio for drinks, Eileen takes a shine to Tyler, who ends up with a guilty conscience when the two start dating.

In the giddy afterglow of finding gold in Szidon's emails, Amy lets down her guard with Jeff, and indulges herself in daydreams of building a life with him. The dream comes to an abrupt end, however, when Levi unexpectedly returns from rehab in Hawaii.

In hopes she will drop her crusade against Abaddonn, Tyler gets Eileen to arrange a meeting for Amy with Szidon. Dougie goes off the rails after getting official word about Cogentiva's future. Amy confides in Krista about the Abaddonn expose.

Season Two Finale. On the precipice of bringing down Abaddonn, Amy warns Tyler to prepare for the inevitable fallout. As the crisis reaches its denouement, Amy is taken to meet with Szidon and Abaddonn lawyers for a final reckoning.
