This Anime is pretty good, I wouldn't call this a masterpiece though. The first Fooly Cooly is better than Progressive, these 6 episodes aren't as chaotic as the first season but they're serviceable. I think that the visuals for episode 5 tried to be like the first season but it the thing that took the cake for me was the art change. The music here is gorgeous

Progressive Only---the original gets 10/10. It says "family" category, but FLCL Progressive has violence and gore, and sexual references as well. NOT meant for younger children. Episode 1 has some body horror, extended pornographic style moaning audio, and Episode 2 has gory zombie violence. Dialogue clunky, characters flat and unlikable, could be forgiven aside from this fatal flaw : not nearly enough Pillows.
