About this show

FALLING SKIES opens in the aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. The few remaining survivors have banded together. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people while engaging in a campaign against the occupying alien force, whose purpose remains a mystery.

I always seem to catch screw up on TV shows, books, etc.. This must have been really low budget, how many times can the GTO get blown up & back in the next episode, same with the truck w/the reddish door. Among a lot of other things. But that's my opinion & you know the saying ☺

I give Falling Skies 5 stars. Great show. But.... had a problem streaming on Google Play. Emailed them to let them know and then a few days later finally was notified about a fix. By the time I tried it again, it must have expired because it still doesn't work. I don't care about $1.99, but wasn't going to take the chance on it a second time. So, I bought the latest episode over on Amazon and it worked perfectly. Same price. I might hesitate to rent movies or TV shows from Google in the future. I like their selection though, so I'll probably get over it - eventually.

If you love movies and tv shows that are about post apocalyptic events then you will love Falling Skies. If you love TV shows and movies such as "The Walking Dead", "Jericho", "Revolution", "War of the worlds", "Signs", and many others that are in the Doomsday genre then this is the show for you. There are five seasons to this series. The series aired from 2011-2015, The fifth season was the last season for the series, the fifth season ended in August of 2015. You will not be disappointed in the quality of cinematics and most importantly the acting. The storyline is very original, it's not the same old alien invasion movie that you've seen a thousand times before. "Falling Skies" brings a new fresh concept to the Doomsday genre of alien invasion. You will become a number one fan from the first episode to the last. You will not be disappointed I promise.
