About this show

Join Fathers Ted, Dougal and Jack, three Irish priests exiled by the Church to their own private purgatory, a twisted lump of rock called Craggy Island, as penance for indulging in various shady misdemeanours.

Initially reluctant to watch (priests on an island - didn't sound too exciting), but that is one of the most beautiful, hilarious, witty, unexpected, self-aware and kind collectiojn of stories there are. Truly, a must-watch for anybody with a morbid sense of humour and ability to step out of their comfort zone once in a while. Musicians and music lovers - start with A Song For Ireland. If you like living dangerously - play a drinking game, where you have a drink every time you hear "drink!" (%
