This show is so painfully boring, unrealistic, and cardboard that it took me multiple stop-and-go sessions to finish watching it. The characters are entirely unlikeable, and fail to react to the zombies in a realistic manner. These people adjust to the madness almost seamlessly, and nobody is really traumatized by anything. It's like an ABC family drama with zombies...which are barely even shown at all in the first season. Save your time and money. Don't believe the hype, and don't buy this show.

This was the most stupid show I've ever watched in my entire life. They
just hit all the liberal groups and threw it into a show. As if the world
is like that. in the show there was no normal people is what you call them
that don't fit into the category you are fitting people into. They all have
mental problems they had drug problems a lot of Latinos. I think if you're
going to do a show like that in America you need to do it in English
completely even if they're Latinos. It was annoying to watch something you
didn't understand what the hell they were saying the whole time. Not only
that you focused on all things that are controversy. There's nothing wrong
with gay people being in there Exedra and so on. But the problem is is you
focus more on that than you did on the show

The mom cares about no one but her own family, even to the point of leaving her neighbors clueless until her drugged out son reminds her of her humanity. Her daughter, fiancé's ex-wife, and future stepson are left ignorant. The characters are generally unlikable, completely generic, and clearly unable to care for themselves in any emergency situation. I love almost every zombie movie/series but this one....I can't imagine it lasting long unless it goes through a huge change of personality.
