Feel Good

Stand-up comic Mae (Mae Martin) is stuck in a rut. She's single, in recovery, and sleeping on a friend's sofa. The jokes may be landing - but her life isn't. So when she meets magnetic – but previously heterosexual – George (Charlotte Ritchie), it doesn't seem possible that George could be interested in her.

Mae and George are loved up and they haven't spent a moment apart since they met. So when George goes away to a wedding, Mae realizes she's forgotten how to be on her own.

George's refusal to let Mae into her life and introduce her to her friends is taking a terrible toll on their sex life.

Mae finds out that her parents (Adrian Lukis and Lisa Kudrow) are visiting the UK but haven't thought to tell her.

Mae's stand up career has been suffering while she's been distracted by her faltering relationship with closeted, possible-actual- heterosexual George.

Post break up, Mae hits rock bottom.
