I'm sure most have heard how good this is. It is that good. I loved it when it was a prime time show and was just as shocked as most when it ended so early. It's even more shocking we never saw another try of getting the show out (other than the movie). Now, I don't think it's possible to recreate the magic especially since the movie, as good as it was, killed off several main characters. To this day I won't rewatch it and I find it hard to force myself to rewatch the series. It still hurts that much. Firefly might of been the best thing that's ever been created and my one solace is that I got to experience it while knowing nothing about it because once you hear how great it is you'll never be able to experience that.

When I first watched it on FOX, I hated the show because it seemed so disjointed. After watching the episodes in the proper order, I can honestly say this is one of the best sci-fi shows to ever hit television. It was gritty, funny, passionate, and powerful. The characters worked brilliantly together to establish personal conflicts that never overburdened the show with high school-grade sexual tension and useless drama. But heroes are only as good as their villains, and the bad guys in Firefly are phenomenal, especially Niska and Jubal. They combine the perfect degree of menace, threat, and genuine danger where you actually fear for the safety of the heroes. It's a shame this show couldn't survive, but in a way, I suppose that's part of what makes it so magical -- they didn't really have a chance to screw it up.

Greatest show on earth 🌎 I feel in love with a prostitute, a mechanic, a weirdo, and an infantry soldier watching this show back in the day. With the kind of stuff they had on then this was trail blazing but today this show still would hold its own. Similar shows are getting hard to find today. CW is really were all the super hot girls seem to be. These girls though had something then though that today doesn't so much and that... a great back story and characters you can relate to like. 👍
