Friends: The Best of Monica

Two bullies eject Chandler and Ross from Central Perk. Phoebe meets a brother she never knew she had.

After breaking up with Richard, Monica uses her free time to make jam and consider insemination via a sperm bank.

While Rachel sorts out her conflicted feelings for her handsome co-worker Gavin (recurring guest star DERMOT MULRONEY), Ross recruits Chandler to help him meet attractive women in order to make Rachel jealous. Meanwhile, Phoebe regrets bringing Monica to karaoke night when Monica takes the microphone and delights in the applause--unaware that the guys in the audience are cheering because they can see through her dress. And Joey submits to painful eyebrow waxing before a photography session. Recurring guest star MELISSA GEORGE appears as Molly.

Contemplating how differently their lives could have turned out, the friends fantasize that Rachel and Ross are in respective loveless marriages; Monica is an overweight virgin; poor Chandler works for television star Joey; and Phoebe is an overstressed stockbroker.

In the friends' continuing speculative fantasy, Ross initiates a threesome with his wife and her female friend--and gets left out. Chandler and Monica help each other overcome loneliness. Rachel learns the truth about her husband. Phoebe sneaks out of the hospital

Monica excitedly reveals the good news of her engagement to everyone--but Rachel and Ross upstage her by reuniting. Chandler has trouble making love.

As Monica and Chandler prepare their wedding vows, they and their friends reminisce. The episode features numerous clips from previous episodes.

When a concerned Joey takes Rachel to the hospital because of pain relating to her pregnancy, he realizes that his intense romantic feelings for her are excluding Ross from the joys of impending fatherhood. Joey reluctantly makes a gallant suggestion that could change all of the friends' lives. Meanwhile, Chandler becomes obsessed with finding out what is behind the locked door of Monica's forbidden, secret closet. And Monica agrees to let Phoebe massage her--but Phoebe regrets doing so when Monica ecstatically responds with suggestive grunts and groans.

Chandler becomes upset when Monica spends a fortune on a luxurious pair of black boots. After she discovers that the sexy new shoes hurt her feet, Monica continues to wear them, rather than admitting that Chandler was right to be concerned. Meanwhile, celebrity-obsessed Phoebe learns that Ross' son, Ben (recurring guest star COLE MITCHELL SPROUSE), attends the same school as the son of rock star Sting. She tries to meet Sting and get tickets to his upcoming concert--until she encounters his suspicious wife, TRUDIE STYLER (herself). Also, Rachel tries to mediate between an angry Joey and his pregnant younger sister, Dina (MARLA SOKOLOFF - "The Practice").

Nervous and excited, Monica and Chandler travel to Texas to meet a young pregnant woman, Erica Simmons (recurring guest star ANNA FARIS - "Scary Movie" films), who is considering allowing them to adopt her child when it's born. Monica and Chandler like Erica, and she likes them. The only problem is that, due to a mix-up at the adoption agency, Erica thinks Monica is a reverend and Chandler is a doctor--and the eager couple hesitates to correct her. Meanwhile, Joey dates Phoebe's friend but annoys her with his territorial eating habits. And after succumbing to a sexy and persuasive salesgirl, Ross ends up in a unique new wardrobe.
