Started off good, but now it just drags on. Its like the show LOST; the writers can't figure out how to conclude anything so they just keep introducing more characters and redherrings. Too bad Google doesn't let people rate shows season to season otherwise the average score would be 2 stars lower.

For those who liked Christopher Nolan trilogy, this show would be enjoyable, but it is certainly not suited for those who are familiar with the source material. Admittedly the idea of a Gotham before Batman intrigued me, but the show very quickly lost it's appeal I found. Young Bruce was done well, but I never considered James Gordon a "Matt Damon"-esque character. Also making the penguin a tall slim momma's boy was more comical than anything.

comics have many different origin stories. this is exactly that. penguin is skinny...gordon is a pretty boy, but still a badass. bruce becomes similar to Batman pretty early on in life...but its just a different continuity, like when batman gets certain guest writers for a series. don't expect this origin story to be continuous with the common stories we see today. this is its own story snd its awesome. expect something new
