Guilt

Max and Jake run down an old man while Jake is driving stoned and uninsured. They carry on with their lives hoping the death will be attributed to natural causes, but the brothers end up being pulled further into the dead man’s world.

Max tries to derail the detective he engaged to calm Walter's niece Angie's fears. Max must also deal with threats from neighbor Sheila, who reveals that she witnessed something that night. For a price, she will keep her mouth shut.

Angie and Jake's burgeoning but complex relationship has hit a problem. Is there more to the record shop than it first appears? Unable to control Jake’s inquiries, Max takes matters into his own hands, with terrifying results for Jake.

Sheila claims ignorance when she discovers Walter's real niece has been in contact. Max orders Jake to leave the country with Angie. Angie is still suspicious of Max. Max and Angie have their own separate suspicions about Sheila.
