My 2yo son saw a commercial for this show and laughed. He rarely laughs at shows. Gets excited, interacts, yes, but rarely laughs. So my wife and I set it to record on the DVR to see what happened. HE LOVES IT. He can't get enough of Hey Duggee and laughs with almost every episode. This show keeps his attention longer than any other show and he's just so happy to watch it. Of course we limit his TV exposure but this is such a great show. The three of us watch it each day together (It's easy when episodes are a mere 7 min long). The animation is simple but the writing is genius. It works for toddlers, young kids (maybe up through kindergarten?), and their parents alike. Each episode features a different badge that the kids get to earn and teaches a different lesson (or at least tells a nice story) and it's all good fun. The characters are adorable, have unique personalities, and the voice acting is superb. Definitely worth checking out.

The premise of this show is that Duggee is somewhat of a scout leader who leads his scouts (the animal children) through different activities to earn badges. My kids love this show! I like it too - they are quite short so we're not stuck watching a long show when the kids want to watch TV. I also love that when the animals arrive/depart each animal child has a very similar looking animal parent, but the child alligator's parent is an elephant. It warms my heart because families come together in all sorts of ways. It's a simple show, very cute and very silly. I just wish there were more episodes available - there are over 50 episodes in the first season alone but there are only a fraction of that currently available on Google Play. Luckily they have some of the most memorable episodes. Still - I'd love to see more!

My 2 year old runs around the house screaming Duggie hug at everyone then starts giving a great big hug! She ABSOLUTELY loves this show! Even my almost 7 year old autistic daughter loves it! She has started sing some of the songs which is huge for her since she is non verbal!!!!! Wish there were more episodes available for purchase! Highly recommended for anyone with young children! It's a great show!
