About this show

An acutely observed, forensically honest, warts-and-all look at a working-class couple in their mid-twenties and the minutiae of their relationship. All Steve and Becky want to do is drink, eat and have sex - so they do. They don't want to get a job - so they don't. Watch their endless days of nothing played out in real-time as they exist together in Steve's bedsit, happy and ambition-free.

Written by Stefan Golaszewski who is from the incredible sketch group Cowards (with Tim Key, Tom Basden and Lloyd Woolf). The show is almost too realistic to a fault with some scenes being uncomfortable for their awkwardness and toilet humour from displaying unrestricted access to the couples life. Great scripts and perfect acting make the bedsit voyeurism acceptable for comic value and the end result is a fantastic piece of television sitcom. Not for everyone but a great little show.

And surprisingly tender in an utterly unromantic way.
